Computer Nitrox Diver

This is the entry level certification course for recreational divers wishing to utilize enriched air nitrox (EAN) as a breathing gas.

The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for using nitrox mixes from 22% to 40% oxygen content using a Nitrox Computer.

Prerequisites: Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver or current enrolment in one of those courses. Must be a minimum age of eighteen (18) or a minimum age of ten (10) with parental consent.

Cost: $75

**This course has the academics available online or you can schedule class time with an instructor for all of it.

What's involved: Students are required to successfully complete the following:

1. At the completion of the course, the students are required to have one hundred percent (100%)
comprehension of the questions and answers located at the end of every chapter of the SDI “Easy
Nitrox Diving” manual.
2. Analyze a minimum of two nitrox cylinders.
3. Log a minimum of one (1) nitrox cylinder.
4. Program a nitrox computer to a mix between 22-40% O2.
